NL hold'em
8 players (unknown)
all the pots around 100
blind 1-2
you're at the button
1 fold
2 calls (the 2)
2 raises (to 10)
you got TT or JJ
RERAISE ?
(me: yes to 20)
your opinion ?
TY

Definitely. Shake off any players wanting to see the flop cheap, narrow your opposition down to as few as possible.
Although anything could crop up on the fold, you're going in with at least a pair, and a chance to make any number of hands. Your amount sounds right too, 1/5 of the average pot is enough to make anyone worry about what you've got.

Yeah I'm with Thomas on this one - the hand isn't spectacular yet, but it's not bad and theres a reasonable pot brewing. Reraise, try and narrow it down a lil and then see the flop before making an further decisions in the game.

A little, though not excessively. I'd want to come across as confident, but not stupid as anyone with QQ, KK or AA are ahead of me then.
I would also like to give myself the leeway to drop out after the flop if nothing comes up and someone makes a big bet. I don't want to be committed to the pot.
