Dare I ask why they gave it this name?
Sounds nice and easy to play, though I'm not sure stating "I'm off to play Dogbutt" will sound all that inviting.

I hadn't heard of that one either, but sounds simple enough. We often play with wild cards, like one-eyed Jacks, Dr. Pepper (3,6,9), etc..

Dr. Pepper? New one on me! I suppose it's alright for a group game between friends as a variation.

It's fun with 7-card stud...I've been pretty lucky..true enough, playing with friends, don't think you'll find it in a casino!

Hehe, no I don't! Interesting game, but I think that a lot of these variations aren't taken seriously because they are too similar to an existing, popular variation... or they are given crap names like Dogbutt

There is only so much you can do with a deck of cards I suppose, though yes I'm not too keen on the naming of this one either, though there are worse I'll tell you that!
Maybe we should make a thread on crap poker variation names...
